Midwest Action Network

I like it, but I'll fool around with it a few times before the gathering.

I like it.

It may have a somewhate seccessionist feel to it, but in a sense we're kind of seccessionists. We (I think I'm speaking for most anarchists here)genuinely do not want to be a part of the USA.

i voted for good enough. i did think that the logo kind of sounded succesionist (like we were some rightwing regional succesionist political party), and some uninformed person coming to the sight might take us as something that we are not. i think that i do like "anarchy in the midwest" or a circle a around the a in action better than US out of the midwest. To me it is not that big of a deal though and is more or less ok. This site really isn't much of an introduction to anarchism/autonomism/anti-authoritarianism in the midwest, (though potentially it could be that too?)but a networking hub for those who are already active and want to work with people outside of their immediate local.

I'm sure someone has already said this to themselves or someone else, but if somebody new to an antiauthoritarian community or anarchist ideas might interpret this as a secessionist group. I know it sounds ridiculous, but the logo is absolutely important as a tool of impression and distillation, and this one is maybe a little bit misleading. Again, it seems like total shit to say that and maybe it is total shit. Maybe we should circle the A in "Action"?

Any way to make it clear that we're anarchists?
