Unconventional Midwest Convergence: May 30th-June 1st (Schedule and more)

With little more than a week until the “Unconventional Midwest” convergence the organizers of the event would like to (again) ask folks to please RSVP before hand, especially if your planning on attending the strategizing session (YOU MUST GET VOUCHED FOR TO ENTER THE STRATEGIZING SESSION).

Organizers are also asking for folks to come to the strategizing session on Saturday with proposals and ideas ready to discuss.

With all that said, the following is the schedule for this weekend of regional rage:

FRIDAY:
5PM: Critical Mass (@ Loring Park)
7PM: Benefit movie night/vouching (@Arise bookstore 2441 lyndale ave. S)

SATURDAY:
9AM-10AM: Breakfast/vouching/introductions (RSVP for location)
10:15AM-11:45AM: RNC/DNC Updates/UA-Midwest call to action
12:00PM-12:30PM: Lunch
1:00PM-3:00PM: Strategizing session

OR

1:00PM- 2:30PM: Tour of St. Paul
3:30PM-4:30PM: De-arresting Game
5:00PM-5:30PM: Dinner
6:00PM-7:30PM: Cold Snap Legal Collective: Know your rights
8:15PM: March: Tour of the delegate hotels.

SUNDAY:
10:00AM-11:00AM: Breakfast/Debriefing
11:30PM-1:30PM: Direct Action Block (of time) Pt. 1

OR

11:30PM-1:30PM: Medic Training Pt. 1
1:45PM-2:15PM: Lunch
2:30PM-4:30PM: Direct Action Block (of time) Pt. 2
