Midwest Action Network

(“A Midwestern cluster”  is calling on all midwestern clusters, affinity groups, and individuals to work within Sector 5 (until it is clear it is adopted sufficiently).

With only 2 weeks, a seething urge to adopt sector 5, and 7.12 spokes council for sector 5 coming right around the corner. The organizers of this event are asking representatives to send an RSVP to the address at the bottom of this release so they can plan for food, childcare, housing, ect.

In these RSVPs we’re encouraging folks to send proposals that they’d like to see discussed at the spokes.

Unconventional Midwest Convergence: May 30th-June 1st (Schedule and more)

With little more than a week until the “Unconventional Midwest” convergence the organizers of the event would like to (again) ask folks to please RSVP before hand, especially if your planning on attending the strategizing session (YOU MUST GET VOUCHED FOR TO ENTER THE STRATEGIZING SESSION).

The 2008 Great Lakes Anarchist Gathering will be taking place in one month, June 7th & 8th, in Toledo, Ohio.

This year's event will be an important one due to both it's chronological and geographical proximity to the upcoming Republican National Convention in Minneapolis. Activities and discussions will focus heavily on the continuing growth and development of the Midwest Action Network and regional organization ahead of the upcoming RNC.

On May 30th - June 1st, 2008, folks from all over the Midwest will be heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota to flesh out solid proposals in regards to how we’ll work together against the RNC/DNC come Se

Back in October, Anti-Racist Action, together with almost 100 Wayne State students, confronted racist Israel supporter Daniel Pipes when he visited our university.

The conference will be dealing with the RNC/DNC, 5th anniversary of Iraq War protests, I-69 (NAFTA Superhighway) Resistance in indiana, and Lakotah nation breaking away from the US, among other thing

Come help us plan for the RNC.
